Who is Pilates with Claire?

Pilates with Claire has been founded by Claire Elizabeth Rees and is a small Pilates business offering local classes and online videos to its customers.

All personal identifiable information about you is collected voluntarily by you.

​This page is hosted on the Squarespace platform and we use Bsport for our online booking system. Your data may be stored through data storage, databases on Sqaurespace and Bsport applications.            

Signup form

The signup form on this site collects your name, email address, phone number, and any relevant information regarding your health that I might need in order to contact, advise, or identify you. I am only able to receive this information when you click the 'Signup' button.

Contact form

The contact form on this site collects your name, email address, phone number, and details of your query. This is to help me advise and identify you. I am only able to receive this information when you click the 'Submit' button. 

Financial data

Credit/debit card transactions are handled by authorised clearing companies  Stripe Payments – Privacy Policy). When you input your card information you do so in a fully secured environment only to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Technical data

This site automatically collects and stores some information that you do not actively provide, such as your IP (Internet Protocol) address, software and hardware attributes such as browser type, the date and time of your visit, videos viewed and the duration of videos viewed, and the last site you visited prior to visiting this site.

Retention of health screening information for a given period of time may be required for legal purposes. In the event of a client/class member requesting the destruction of health screening information before such time has elapsed, I will seek the necessary legal advice to ensure compliance with the laws applicable at the time of the request, and will not retain information for longer than is absolutely necessary.

How I protect your data

Every effort has been made to ensure the protection of your data is in accordance with the data protection act of 1998. Therefore all physical documents containing your personal information are filed in a locked cabinet that only I have access to. All digital data is secured by encrypted passwords and my systems have up to date virus protection software. 

I may need to disclose your details if required to the police, regulatory bodies, specialists advisors, or legal advisors. Sensitive information is deleted when no longer required and access is restricted to those who need it.

This site has an SSL Certificate that protects your sensitive information such as credit card information, usernames, passwords etc.
